Build a Career That Changes Lives

“Your care, encouragement, and compassion can become part of someone’s progress.”

Client Coach — Brain Injury Rehabilitation

At TASS Stroke & Brain Injury Rehabilitation, caregiving is more than helping someone get through the day. It is helping each client make progress, build greater independence, participate in meaningful activities, and enjoy a better quality of life.

We are seeking compassionate, dependable people who want to make a personal difference in the lives of individuals recovering from strokes and brain injuries.

Whether you are an experienced CNA, pursuing a healthcare-related education, or building a career in direct patient care, the Client Coach position provides an opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in a specialized rehabilitation environment.

Apply to Become a Client Coach

More Than a Caregiving Position

As a Client Coach, you will become an active and important part of each client’s daily life and rehabilitation journey.

You will provide essential personal care while also helping clients follow routines, practice compensatory strategies, participate in therapeutic activities, attend appointments, enjoy community outings, and work toward goals established in their individual plans of care.

This is a hands-on position for someone who wants to know the people they serve, understand their individual needs, and take an active role in helping them move forward.

Why Become a Client Coach at TASS?

Make a Personal Impact

You will work directly with clients and see how consistent encouragement, assistance, and compassionate care can make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Participate in the Rehabilitation Process

Client Coaches help carry rehabilitation goals and strategies into clients’ everyday routines. Your work may include therapeutic activities, behavior-support techniques, mobility assistance, personal care, community participation, and other activities designed to support each client’s progress.

Build Meaningful Relationships

This role allows you to learn each client’s history, routines, abilities, challenges, and goals. That personal knowledge helps you provide more thoughtful and consistent support.

Gain Specialized Experience

Working with individuals affected by strokes and brain injuries can provide valuable experience for CNAs and students pursuing careers in nursing, rehabilitation, therapy, behavioral health, or other healthcare disciplines.

Stay Active and Engaged

This is not a desk job. Client Coaches assist with daily activities, transfers, meals, therapeutic programs, appointments, outings, household responsibilities, and other hands-on aspects of client care.

Receive Ongoing Training

Client Coaches participate in required in-service training and learn the programs, protocols, compensatory strategies, and behavior-support techniques needed to serve each client safely and effectively.

Available Shifts

TASS offers three regular eight-hour shifts:

  • 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
  • 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Twelve-hour shifts may occasionally be available when required by staffing or client-care needs, but they are not part of the regular schedule.

Client Coach Responsibilities

Client Coaches are responsible for protecting the health, safety, dignity, and well-being of the clients they serve. Responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, personal hygiene, and other activities of daily living
  • Assisting with bowel and bladder programs
  • Preparing meals, assisting with feeding, and monitoring weight
